About

The love for baking runs deep in my family. My mother introduced me to baking at a young age. She was a stay at home mom and loved to be in the kitchen cooking up good food and great desserts. Our house was the place to come to if you wanted a tasty meal and a delicious dessert. Growing up there was not a month that went by that we did not have a family member or friend join us for dinner.  My mother used to tell them that you must have smelled the food cooking across town. She was nick named the ''Queen of Sweet Potatoes" because everyone loved her sweet potato pies. Due to my mother's disability, she is no longer able to get into the kitchen to do any cooking or baking.

During the pandemic I was laid off from my job and I said this is my time to start my own business. I thought what better way to keep the tradition alive and get people to try some tasty desserts. Everything in life happens for a reason and my job loss turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I was able to step out on faith and follow my passion and do what I love. Prior to me losing my job I had already been selling my desserts to my former coworkers for three years. Little did I know at the time that I was preparing myself for a future business.
